Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà Designer  industriale attento e sensibile alle diverse correnti di design e artistiche più significative ed eterogenee, unisce all'interno della propria proposta una duplice anima: tecnica e artistica. Libero di utilizzare il “Form Follows Function” o il “Function Follows Form” a seconda del tema affrontato, ha un significativo background tecnico.
Riveste per 12 anni il ruolo di Senior Project tech designer di stampi di pressofusione e plastica, realizzando attrezzature e stampi per Kawasaki, Ducati, Bonfiglioli, Sylber, Metalwork, Gaggia, Mercedes, Fini, Prisma,

Tronconi e Artemide.
Per altri 14 anni, parallelamente al ruolo di Ricerca e Sviluppo nel settore casa con Mepra S.p.A., comincia la propria collaborazione come designer per la casa realizzando articoli in acciaio inox e plastica con Pandora Design s.r.l, UnitedPets s.r.l, Bialetti Industrie S.p.A. e Mori2A S.p.A. Nel settore illuminotecnico tra il 2004/2006 collabora con la Light Contract s.r.l (Divisione Flos S.p.A.) e firma tre proposte per le londinesi Habitat L.t.d e Mark&Spencer L.t.d. Con Artemide S.p.A. realizza nel 2008 ”Pirce“ (Good_design2008, Red Dot Award 2009,
IF Design Award 2010) e nel 2011 “Alcatraz”, piantana terra LED. Nel 2016 altre due proposte: “Pan”, lampada

da tavolo e ”Babilonia”, sospensione LED con un’originale e scenografico effetto illuminante.
Collabora per 5 anni come Designer senior all'interno di una realtà Oem, per la realizzazione di piccoli elettrodomestici per gruppi nazionali ed internazionali, quali Artsana S.p.A., Polti S.p.A., Imetec S.p.A. Collabora dal 2000 nel mondo della scultura, con alcuni degli artisti emergenti nel panorama nazionale ed internazionale.
Nel settore Bagno/Welness collabora con Gessi S.p.A .dal 2010, firmando nel 2016 la nuova collezione iconica ”Equilibrio”.
Nel settore dell’arredamento in vetro collabora dal 2017 con Tonelli Design s.r.l, firmando la collezione completa di tavoli “Metropolis” e specchi “Barcode”. Con J&J Design s.r.l lo specchio luminoso “Frame”, “Marea” e “Eye”. Nel 2018 presenta con la Pezzani s.r.l la sedia richiudibile “Piper”.
Nel settore illuminotecnico “Lineavolo” con Formalighting s.r.l. Al Cersaie 2018 con Rak ceramics P.J.S.C, colosso arabo indiano tra i primi produttori mondiali

nel settore ceramico, “Rak cloud”, collezione completa di sanitari, specchi dalle forme scultoree e glamour. Al Cersaie 2019, sempre con Rak ceramics, segue

“Rak petit”. Una collezione architetturale dalle linee minimal e dai dettagli ricercati.  Ad Euroluce 2019, con Formalighting s.r.l, presenta la collezione ampliata

e completa di Lineavolo.
A Maggio 2020 presenta con Metallvm “Tracce”, una collezione di mobili e luci dalla forte connotazione materica e scultorea. Nel 2021 inizia una collaborazione con la multinazionale Osram, per lo sviluppo di una linea di luce In_Ground Walkable Finesse relativa ad una specifica applicazione residenziale, dedicata a mercati internazionali con caratteristiche climatiche severe.
Al Salone del mobile di Milano 2022 presenta con Platek la collezione di luci outdoor “Shanghai”. Al fuori salone Brera Discrit 2022 con IBB 1974 la collezione accessori bagno “Ligno”. Al Light& Building 2022 di Francoforte presenta con Francesconi Architectural Light la collezione di proiettori Indoor/Outdoor “Nova”. Con Tognana S.p.A. nel 2023 presenta la collezione di pentole/tegami ed tools cucina “Pearlbrown”. Ad Euroluce 2023 presenta con Penta Light del gruppo Auralis il sistema luce “Exa”.
A Milano Home 2024 e Ambiente 2024 Francorte presenta la nuova collezione di Tools cucina, pentole e tegami in acciaio e alluminio “Luxury design” con Andrea Fontebasso 1760 del gruppo Tognana. Al Light&Building 2024 Francoforte ha presentato tre nuove proposte con Francesconi  Architechtural light : la collezione “Nova Spotlight”, l’applique “Brick Smooth” ed il Pole Bollard “Cup”.

Presentata la nuova collezione di specchi “ Sipario” con Calligaris alla MDW 2024 al Salone del mobile di Milano.

Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà Designer  Attentive and sensitive industrial designer to the most significant and heterogeneous design and artistic currents, combines within its proposal a dual soul: technical and artistic. Free to use the “Form Follows Function” or the “Function Follows Form” depending on the topic addressed, has a significant technical background.
For 12 years he held the role of Senior Project tech designer of die-casting and plastic moulds, creating equipment and molds for Kawasaki, Ducati, Bonfiglioli, Sylber, Metalwork, Gaggia, Mercedes, Fini, Prisma, Tronconi and Artemide.
For another 14 years, in parallel with the role of Research and Development in the home sector with Mepra S.p.A., he began his collaboration as designer for the home creating stainless steel and plastic items with Pandora Design s.r.l, UnitedPets s.r.l, Bialetti Industrie S.p.A. and Mori2A S.p.A.
In the lighting sector between 2004/2006 he collaborated with Light Contract s.r.l (Divisione Flos S.p.A.) and signed three proposals for the London companies Habitat L.t.d and Mark&Spencer L.t.d. With Artemide S.p.A. created ”Pirce“ in 2008 (Good_design2008, Red Dot Award 2009, IF Design Award 2010) and in 2011 “Alcatraz”, LED floor lamp. In 2016 two other proposals: “Pan”, table lamp and “Babilonia”, suspension LED with an original and spectacular lighting effect.
He collaborates for 5 years as a senior designer within an OEM company, for the creation of small household appliances for national groups
and international ones, such as Artsana S.p.A., Polti S.p.A., Imetec S.p.A. He has been collaborating since 2000 in the world of sculpture, with some of the artists emerging on the national and international scene. In the Bathroom / Wellness sector he has been collaborating with Gessi S.p.A. since 2010, designing the new iconic "Equilibrio" collection in 2016.
In the glass furniture sector he has been collaborating with Tonelli Design s.r.l since 2017, designing the complete collection of "Metropolis" tables and “Barcode” mirrors. With J&J Design s.r.l the luminous mirror “Frame”, “Marea” and “Eye”. In 2018 he presented the chair with Pezzani s.r.l foldable “Piper”.
In the lighting sector “Lineavolo” with Formalighting s.r.l. At Cersaie 2018 with Rak ceramics P.J.S.C, an Arab Indian giant among the first world producers in the ceramic sector, “Rak cloud”, complete collection of sanitary ware, mirrors with sculptural and glamorous shapes.
At Cersaie 2019, again with Rak ceramics, “Rak petit” follows. An architectural collection with minimal lines and refined details.
At Euroluce 2019, with Formalighting s.r.l, presents the expanded and complete “Lineavolo” collection. In May 2020 he presents "Tracce" with Metallvm, a collection of furniture and lights with a strong material connotation and sculptural. In 2021 a collaboration begins with the multinational Osram, for the development of an In_Ground Walkable light line Finesse relating to a specific residential application, dedicated to international markets with severe climatic characteristics.
At the 2022 Salone del mobile Milano he presents the "Shanghai" outdoor lighting collection with Platek. Outside the Brera Discrit 22 Milano with IBB 1974 the “Ligno” bathroom accessories collection. At Light& Building 2022 in Frankfurt he presents Architectural Light with Francesconi the “Nova” collection of Indoor/Outdoor projectors. With Tognana S.p.A. in 2023 it presents the collection of pots/pans andkitchen tools “Pearlbrown”. At Euroluce 2023 it presents the “Exa” lighting system with Penta Light from the Auralis group.
At Milan Home 2024 and Ambiente 2024 Francorte presents the new collection of kitchen tools, pots and pans in steel and aluminum “Luxury design” with Andrea Fontebasso 1760 of the Tognana group. At Light&Building 2024 Frankfurt presented three new proposed with Francesconi Architechtural light: the “Nova Spotlight” collection, the “Brick Smooth” applique and the “Cup” Bollard.

The new "Sipario" mirror collection was presented with Calligaris at the MDW 2024 at the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
